Extraordinary Summit of CEMAC

     well as their sincere thanks for the warm welcome and generous hospitality
     accorded them throughout their stay in Yaounde.

20. They commended the participation of special guests to the Summit, namely
     Mr ABEBE AEMRO SELASSIE, Africa Director, representing Ms Kristalina
     GEORGIEVA, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF),
     Mr Ousmane DIAGANA, Vice-President of the World Bank for West and
     Central Africa, Dr Serge N’GUESSAN, Managing Director of the Central
     Africa Office, representing Mr AKINWUMI ADESINA, President of the
     African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, H.E. Thiery MARCHAND,
     Ambassador of the French Republic to Cameroon, representing the French
     Government.

21. The closing ceremony was marked by the reading of the Final Communiqué,
     followed by the closing speech of H.E. Paul BIYA, President of the Republic
     of Cameroon.

22. The deliberations of the Extraordinary Session of the CEMAC Conference of
     Heads of State took place in an atmosphere of calm, mutual understanding
     and entente cordiale.
