14. In addition, the Conference urged Member States and Community
     institutions to take measures to shield banks from sovereign risk exposure,
     in accordance with multilateral surveillance criteria. While commending the
     contribution of the banking sector to development finance, it urged national
     and regional supervisory authorities to take collective action to preserve a
     sound and stable banking system.

15. Lastly, to enhance the stability of the CEMAC macroeconomic framework,
     the Conference urged:

              development partners to (i) work towards the conclusion of reviews
                 of their Agreements with the Republic of Cameroon, the Central
                 African Republic and the Republic of Congo, (ii) ensure fiscal
                 adjustment with a social dimension and which preserves
                 investment, (iii) implement policies and structural reforms to
                 consolidate economic growth and monetary stability;

              other States to conclude, as soon as possible, formal programmes
                 with the IMF in order to benefit from its support and that of other
                 technical and financial partners.

16. The Conference renewed the commitment of States to a prudent debt
     policy, with preference for concessional financing. It urged development
     partners to strongly mobilize financial resources to support the structural
     transformation of economies of the sub-region.

17. The Conference commended the successful replenishment of the World
     Bank Group's IDA21 resources to the tune of 100 billion dollars and called
     for the allocation of more substantial resources for the Sub-region, to bridge
     the CEMAC zone’s major basic social infrastructure gap.

18. The Conference welcomed the proposal of the World Bank Group and the
     African Development Bank to organize a Conference on energy sector
     financing through Mission M300 in 2025.

19. At the end of their deliberations, the Heads of State extended their gratitude
     to their Brothers H.E Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon,
     Summit Host, and H.E. Professor Faustin Archange TOUADERA,
     President of the Central African Republic and current Chairperson of
     the CEMAC Conference of Heads of State, for the wonderful initiative and
     excellent organization of this Extraordinary Session of the Conference as
